I have been more than impressed with NESV since their arrival. They said that they should be judged by their actions and not by their words and they have proven this already. The main problem i foresee is that a lot of people want an instant fix, that will never work. Unless this Club is set on a sound footing then money being thrown at it will be wasted. There is no quick fix, we just have to be patient.

I think most of us just wanted Roy out and since then we are happy to let them get on with running the club.If they dont bring in anyone in this transfer window so be it. Lets not buy any more avg players or squad players we have enough of those already.I am more than happy for them to do business behind closed doors and let us know when a deal is done.

You have a very good point, we can not expect to much after such a sort time and a sound footing is needed but I do not think there was that much wrong with LFC when the new owner acquired the club

The only thing wrong with Liverpool was Hick,Gillette ,Roy and Purslow.
We just need to see the back of Purslow now to be cleansed once and for all of negativity.

The most important thing the new owners did ---by making Kenny manager,  they gave us our club back. Everything else will now fall into place. We may not win anything this year but now the whole club is together again and we are all facing the same way. Well done NSEV.

-They purchased a team where probably 50%+ of the  first squad are not what would be considered LFC quality (let alone starting quality)

      - Three years of negative net-spending

      - A disenfranchised fan base that hated the previous ownership and have trust issues now because of how bad they got burned.

      - Team almost in the relegation zone who had an unpopular manager replacing a great manager.

In fact Eddie I would say the only part of the organization not broken was the commercial side with Ian running it...other then that I would say there were and still are some serious issues.

Since 2007 we have dropped like a f***in stone into the depths of despair by the lack of funding, investment in players, of undermining the manager, by a pair of greedy fat kunts who in the end were determined to destroy our club, they showed a complete disregard for the future and were only interested in how much they could screw out of the club and ourselves, these events are written in our history as the most darkest of days since 1989, but little did they know they bit off more than they could chew, and like we did after Hillsborough we will rise from adversity like the pheonix from the ashes, in today's terminology its called '' Bouncebackibility'', Nesv are our saviours, they removed the last of the cancer and installed the King to oversee the Rebirth of the Reds.

We can look again to the future with hope in our hearts and a smile on our faces because we all know what can happen when we have the right and proper people running the show, with Kenny and his knowledge and expeience of this club and Steve Clarke who willl bring a modern slant to training and the fitness regime and tactics its a winning combination, add we are debt free and with a emphasis on youth it is indeed looking very rosy, 100 days has transformed this club from doom and gloom to one of excitement and a very very good future.

      Got to say I'm impressed.

Only slight issue for me would be the lack of a CEO still. Hope that's sorted out swiftly. We seem alright without one though!

Leaving any remarks about transfers until September since the summer is when the real chance of making a mark arrives.

I would say they got a team with a huge world wide fan base, passionate supporters who are second to none, a team who were second in the league two years ago

H & G may have left, but not before the damage was done.
      No player investment.
      Asset stripped playing staff.
      Mediocre and negative manager.
      Alienate fans.
A team suffering on the pitch.

Excellent post racer and I totally agree. So many people don't see the bigger picture. H&G brought this Club to its knees, every facet of this Club suffered under their reign. They almost choked the Liver Bird to death, luckily for us NESV removed their death grip. H&G created so many divides that internally we started to lose our identity.

NESV, along with Kenny have now given us direction again, we are working as a unit, that is the only way to achieve success. One love, one vision.

I agree with your assessment of what H/G were doing/had done to LFC but all of your points can be fixed, some have already been fixed, if they spend big or wisely in the summer all the problems H/G left behind could be sorted out and we could have a chance of winning the league

We now have a fantastic manager and training staff.
The fans are for the most part back on board. It will still be difficult to erase the trust issues after the previous incumbents.
The team looks to be reaping the rewards of the new training regime already.

The problem of quality in the squad still remains. It took five transfer windows of neglect for us to get here.
It may take something similar to fully reverse the damage.

There is also the small matter of what we now face.
The Premier League landscape has changed.
UTD, Arsenal, City, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool. - Will all challenge next year.
We need to get our signings spot on to push for the title.
At least we might challenge next year.
That'll be a start of the memories from an abusive regime fading

If Kenny and Co are still in situ come August I believe we will be challenging for the title and other trophies next season.

The winning mentality is back, the team mentality is back, as is the confidence in each other and in Kenny.  Yes we still need quality additions to the squad and when they arrive there will be no stopping us.

I've not written off the Europa League this season though.

Our owners just get better and better for me, the previous regime are fading more and more into memory and I love that they are doing that. I honestly feel that they have come in and read forums etc and thought that what we think is the way to go.

My trust is far from 100% but you are slowly and surely turning me with your attitude, it couldn't be more Red up to now.

Great statement of intent with the Suarez deal.

And another with the firm flat rejection of Torres transfer request.
