Very sad to see Luis away from Liverpool.
Big players turn good or even average teams into top teams.
Best example of that is ourselves vs last season.

You can also see it in Barce v Real recently. And Bale for Wales vs Israel.

Ultimately, if you want to win big trophies, and win them other than as a fluke or statistical blip
you need top players. And thats what brings in the money, the intl fan bases that allow big clubs to get bigger and stay ahead of the also rans ie selling clubs.

I'm not one to hang on to old players too much.. I always keep an eye out for them but it's always the club is bigger in my eyes.. But I think I'm going soft since Stevies charity gave recently and now seeing that performance from Luis

Suarez doesn't get the recognition he should but IMO he is on the same level as Ronaldo and Messi. In fact he probably has more to his game because his passing is incredible too.

About time he is among the top 3 in the FIFA world player of the year

Amazing as he was, what the F**k were Marquinhos and David Luiz doing for that second goal? Marquinhos leaves him to shut down Masch and David Luiz charges at him leaving himself vulnerable. £80m for that

Some players just get completely ripped to pieces against certain strikers without fail; it happened with Vidic and Torres and now it's happening for Luiz and Suarez

I don't normally watch any matches bar ours but couldn't help myself with this one evn if I did watch it on record and was able to fast forward most parts of it.

All I can say is F**k I miss him. I sat there shaking my head saying why the F**k did you have to leave so soon?

He has come out and said he left because he wants to win the Champions League, he got us there and he could have stayed and given us one more season to see if he could have won it with us, then go to Barca and see if he could win it with them.

One more season is all we needed, we could have won the Premier League and the Champs League or given it one hell of a shot, at the very least.

I missed Nando when he left but got over him pretty quickly. Nearly the end of this Season and every time I see the lads walk out I wish he was in the lineup. Not going to get over him very easily at all. Superfuckingstar!

Oh how we have missed Luis Suarez this season, what a difference it would of made if he was still with us.

Surely one of the best, if not the best player in the world. One consolation is the memories of Luis playing in a Liverpool shirt.
