Yeah something along the lines of. I signed for £35m, I expected to get regular first team football and after recovering from injury never felt I got a good run in the team. I've always been a starter and don't like sitting on the bench, West Ham gave me that chance and that's why I've decided to stay.

Up to 4 months, so could only miss a few games at the start of the season, would be very surprised if that put them off buying him.

Got to cash in... Manager doesn't rate him, get whatever cash for the players Brendan doesn't want and let him spend it on what he wants.
