Didnt put his transfer fee on himself and didn't moan about his treatment and was willing to fight for his place. Ok never set the world alight here but never treated the place like others have done or are doing now.

We can actually buy a top class talent with Andy's transfer. We are in no means of having an alternate which costed 35 million and earning 80 k per week. That 80k should go to a player who is more productive and will actually help the team.

I'm sorry but this outcome was beneficial for both the parties.

Apart from the generous contract offer from West Ham for Carroll's services, the club (LFC) gave him another Million reasons to accept their offer.

Yeah, read that to 'blood', a million compensation ain't to shabby is it, i'm sure it will ease the pain if he ever had any  ,
