Five goals in last six games for Torres.

Probably his best form over the last 5 years

If Fernando was available on a free, would any of you take him back?

At the age of 32 El Niño is well past his best and would only take away game time from the likes of Origi and Ings.

Think he became disillusioned with things and fell out of love with football... I glad to see that he has  regained that love and is once again enjoying the game

Over the hill, well past his best, would surely be a backward step to entertain taking him back.

I'd argue he's the Torres of old, finally. Lost a yard of pace but he's looked excellent this season. Really pleased for him and hope he wins either of the trophies on offer this season.

But, we have to move on and not back.

No. I'm not really a fan of 'going back' and as Hsc said he's 32 and is past his best. I think he is very fortunate to find himself managed by an outstanding manager in Simeone who can seemingly get blood from a stone. It takes a special manager to reinvigorate a player who was in his slumber for years and in Torres we are seeing not the sheer force that he was at Liverpool, but a different player who has contributed big style to Atletico's progress in the competition.

It's one of the best stories of the whole season - Atletico's progress and Torres back at the centre of great things which I'm sure we all thought was not possible. Brilliant!

I want City to win because United will jump over City in the league and if Liverpool win Europa then United will miss out on CL.

I think the fact he is scoring goals again is great for him but it must also highlight the difference in the two leagues.

Not really, I think it's the fact he's at a club were he's loved and loves playing for.

What do you miss about England? And what don't you miss about England?
Liverpool was a special city that took to me, I will always remember how special that place was. I obviously don’t miss the rain.

You still have many Liverpool supporters who hold fond memories of you – have you been following their Europa League campaign? Been impressed with what Jürgen Klopp is doing?
I have been very impressed with some of the football they have been playing this season. Liverpool Football Club belongs in the Champions League, and I hope that is where they are very soon.

You ultimately won the Champions League with Chelsea but do you regret moving to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool in hindsight?
I am so happy and playing with such confidence right now, that I am not willing to relive any bad moments at all.

Still gutted Fernando and Atletico didn't win the Champions League but he already has one winners medal so looking back on his career I guess he'll be content with that. Like most how he left us left a very sour taste in my mouth but I am happy he is finding his feet (even though he isn't finding the ol' onion bag) at a club he loves and where he is loved.
