Left us for our rivals and insulted our club after he left! F**k him!

This! Right as we had just signed Suarez too!

He was already on the decline anyway.

I remember thinking we'd done well to get so much for him as he'd had some big thigh injuries and wasn't looking the same

Steven didn't try to join them

They tried to sign him twice but he ultimately said no twice

      He never chased them

But he did hand in a transfer request no? And Chelsea was the club he was considering jumping too. Sure, he turned them down, but I believe even he said he was seriously considering it until Rafa was appointed.

I'm not slagging on Stevie, but it's foolish for someone to base their hate for Torres on him moving to Chelsea after apparently being lied to by FSG and Torres has always spoken in the highest regard for LFC.

Really? Yeah just in reference to the term as you lads are discussing it, the reason it's life-threatening is that it cuts off the airway but you probably knew that anyway.

I actually read it was was a brain trauma that caused him to go unconscious, but in any case the signs are looking good for him:

Even better news on Torres. He's had a scan on neck & back and there's no injuries. He'll remain in hospital under observation.

      Get well soon 'nando.
