I see the Firmino delusion is going strong.

Probably better than Suarez too huh? But anyways..

Happy for Torres. Hated it when he left, but time has healed the hurt, and now I'm happy to see him do well. Those two goals were a great finale for him.

Why is it delusion just because people aren’t agreeing with you? It’s an opinion, not delusion and nobody is asking you to agree.

      You get the irony right?

Calling others delusional whilst creating an alternative version of the truth re Studge and the team (esp Firmino) at every point.

You’re a zoomer mate. Plot has been lost 🤣🤣🤣

Nah, I love Firmino and he's a very unique player in that he's unusual and in some ways difficult to compare to more traditional strikers. But Torres at his best was the world's 3rd best player, he was on another level.

Thing is mate. The comparison is nothing to do with either.

It’s one poster’s obsession with Sturridge and constant need to have a pop at Bobby that’s created it.

I agree, at his peak under us he was simply superb.

haha. I suggest you read the posts in this thread mate.

You can start with your own.

      Let me translate.....

Torres wasn’t here when Studge has been.

Torres is no threat to Studge.

      Torres is good.

      Be like Torres........

      🙄

All I had said is I hoped Torres would grab a hattrick in his last game.

Look at your own obsession. You were the one who brought Sturridge and Firmino into it to try and get a dig at me for being happy with Torres.

Torres can always hit back at any critics and say "would you like to see my trophy cabinet" .
As far as Bobby is concerned he has in my opinion constantly improved his game since being with us and without him I wonder how many goals would the other two would have ,you just have to love the guy and now he has added lots of goals to his game who could ever replace him

Sure enough, I was right. A bit bitter aren't you that you and the like were wrong?

Moses won the Premier League last season. He won the FA Cup this season, and has also continued to hold down a place in Chelsea's team throughout. Yet - not good enough for Liverpool allegedly.

Ah was it too subtle for you.

I can provide subtitles for the deranged......if it’d stop you ruining thread after thread with the Dan-love.

I just find it beyond odd you hop off of Firmino every opportunity but quickly jump to lavish praise on someone who agitated, downed tools and left the club in a poor manner.

      That’s it nowt more.

Different types of players for me, Torres was a pure goal-scorer, for me Firmino's work on the pitch isn't just about scoring goals, he's more of a grafter.

Don't forget, Torres worked hard for the type of player he was! But yeah, different types of forwards!

Would be interesting to see how a world class goal scoring striker would do under Klopp with the players we have tbh.

Yet you love Suarez - despite him doing much worse than Torres.

I love him as a footballer yes absolutely - the will to win and desire.

For the record I also love prime Torres and Studge 13/14 (not near the same level as Nando/Luis, but still).

I can forgive Torres and Suarez for leaving. The crucial difference is that Suarez didn’t down tools.

      Anyway I think we’ve wasted enough of everyone’s time, let’s ignore :)

Just to throw in my 2 cent, for what it’s worth:

      Suarez > Firmino > Torres

Based on the system we play anyway. Torres a sublime finisher; Firmino, tenacious and gifted; Suarez, a mixture of both.

Oh, I would also have Moses in the squad wthout doubt.

He should have announced his retirement the day he left LFC.  That was when his career as an important footballer ended!! 🤣
