If there’s one player who without doubt failed to achieve their potential, it’s Adriano. Shame his career went the way it did.

His left foot made R.Carlos' look tame, lmao!

if he had just shielded the man on that last pen rule of the Copa America final, I would agree it is no pen, but he jumped into him so I think it was a reasonable award. It was unnecessary on the part of the defender, however, and ruined the chance for his team to equalize.

The player Everton had a good tournament and very good match today. He plays for Gremio and wouldn't it the most ironic of Liverpool signings for us to move for him?  :) (there's is no suggestion that he is a target of ours, don't worry).

Bobby was a bit quiet for Brazil today while Allison was superb as usual. Bobby a big part of why Brazil won this event though, make no mistake. Credit to Jesus, by the way, he is some player and I'm not sure City have gotten the best of him yet (a lot of Brazilians seems to save their best for international matches).

Strange to say with our preseason already underway, but here's wishing Bobby And Alli (and Mo) a well-earned rest for the next few weeks. Hate to miss them for any opening matches, but they need to get this break so we'll just have to make do rather than rushing anybody back. Sadio is the only player of ours still on international  duty.

Getting heated in the US - Mexico game. Altidore shanked a great opportunity to go 1-0 up.

Pretty ballsy from Kompany considering they were calling for him to be sacked a few months back.

Different for Belgium though. Brugge crowned champions, Waasland relegated.

Think the Dutch have gone about it wrong. Banning all sport until September seems rash, a lot can happen in that time. I think they’d have crowned a champion if Ajax and AZ weren’t separated at the top by only GD. With the German leagues set to restart on May 9th, other leagues could soon follow so I’m surprised any government is banning sport for such a duration of time. Has panic written all over it and banning until September left the Dutch FA with no other option.

That bloke who took them selfies of himself with Maradonna in his casket has apparently ended up dead in a bin at the hands of Boca Ultras.

Senor Joan Laporta (who was Barca president when I lived out there) is looking to be  re elected again.
If I remember he thinks he is a Spanish Bolsinaro .

He has stated that if he wins ... he intends to brand up The Masia ..... Barca's famous training centre ..... with the sign

      You'll  Never Walk Alone.

      Serbia 2-2 Portugal

Game of 2 halves Serbia 2-2 Portugal
Serbia 1st goal looked offside and the ball looked over the line for a winner for Portugal in injury time at the end. Linesman had a shocker today. What is wrong with fifa, ok can understand maybe no var but also no goal line technology in a world cup qualifying is so wrong.
