Not sure you could have written that game any worse for Wan-Bissaka.

Gold Cup always interesting competition though in the end it is always USA vs Mexico in the final but I just enjoy Canada getting to play some meaningful games and with the group of players they have there is some belief we could at the least make the Hex for 2022 World Cup qualifying (if CONCACAF decide to keep that format). As far as the Gold Cup they had decent showing vs Mexico once Herman decided to play their better players (no idea why he put such a weaken and odd lineup). We got Cuba next which we should win and looking like playing Costa Rica in the QF which should be a good measuring stick for this group of players.

Bit of a shocker last night with Curacao defeating Honduras. Honduras were in the Curacao 18 much of the night but could not find the target.  Similar to Qatar and Japan putting up surprising underdog performances
Chile Ecuador was a foul fest, but Alexis scored a nice goal. Wonder what's in store for him.
The Egypt match was kind of slow, but Mohammed seemed to enjoy playing with his national teammates, look forward to seeing Naby today.

Goal for Bobby today. When you see it you'll agree the goalkeeping wasn't exactly of the highest standard.  :)

He did do the classic Bobby no-look bit though

Curacao made it through to the QF thanks to a draw vs Jamaica and Honduars beating El Salvador which is another surprising result.

Paraguay bunkered in mostly and the match went to penalties after 90 minutes at 0-0.

Allison made a great save on the first penalty. Bobby missed his pretty badly, but Brazil won to advance. I didn't think Bobby played badly but they'll probably be a lot of attention paid to him missing that spot kick.

Hoping Canada can do the job vs Haiti, our attack been pretty good so far and Haiti has been playing on the counter attack we will see lots of the ball but with Canada I expect the worst ;D. Making to the semi-finals of the Gold Cup would be a good stepping stone for this group of players and the new coach going forward towards future.

Quite how paraguay survived at times is beyond me. Brazil deserved to go through but made heavy weather of it

AC Milan have been booted out of the Europa League next season for FFP reasons. I assume the same will now happen to City...

Well after managing all but a couple of minutes of Argentina v brazil, chile v peru was a harder task. Missed chunks of it but my god chile need some new blood. Alexis sanchez should just retire. A bit bleary eyed but thanks to the joys of flexi hours an hour extra in bed was most welcome.
