      I'm looking foward to Friday.

the visit of England to kick start a week end of drinking.

We have a few injuries though to some big players (get the excuses in early).

Gonna be there singing Men of Harlech and all that.

Think they should have kicked for the corner instead of taking the 3 points.

They had them on the rack.

Wales let us off the hook.

Bit of a bind here - irish parents and have spent a lot of time over there, but born and educated in england, so my loyalties are somewhat divided when england and ireland play.

Or look at it another way - it's a win-win situation for me ;)

Really good game of rugby - I'm not an afficianado of the game, but I understand it to an extent, and that was a super game.

It seemed that wales could never quite get on the front foot enough to put concerted pressure on england - but that was more down to england being good than wales being bad.

Thoroughly enjoyed it - but wales need to start taking their chances.

England were clinical, wales weren't - as ever, that was the difference.

Good win for England in a tough atmosphere. 3 matches at Twickenham now. Take all 3 and it's a potential grand slam showdown in Dublin. Biggest chance of a 6 Nations Championship and a Grand Slam for England since 2003 I think!

Too true. We were piss poor against Italy today. It was a terrible match, the only good thing about it was an exciting final 5 mins. Once again we needed an O'Gara drop goal to save us.

France next Sunday now. As George Hook said "we may get the Rosary Beads out for next Sunday!"

But last week I watched a bit of the England's game and it was so entertaining, I decided I'll give it another try this weekend. Which game should I be looking forward to?

Our own mistakes cost us 9 points without reply. Silly stuff really. Heart in mouth near the end only to concede possession at the line. Frustrating and there ends Ireland's Six Nations. Come on Triple Crown

An excellent performance from England this weekend and really sets the next match against France up nicely.

If we get past this one I can see it going to a grand slam match against Ireland.

I am sure we will beat Scotland before that match.

Diego - its a great game to watch at this level.

I understand enough of the rules to enjoy the game but havent a clue when decisions are awarded in the scrums so I wouldnt worry about that too much.

What I like about players at this level is the total committment they show on the field.

If you can get a hold of the video or dvd to the Lions Tour in 1997 to South Africa you should watch it and see what these guys go through. The team talks prioir to the games are massively moving and make you want to get on the field and play yourself.

      Brilliant stuff.

You mean Sexton Diego. His positional play and kicking have been poor all campaign. Put a Leinster jersey on him and he's quality. Has been sh*t for Ireland. ROG has been by far the better player. Six Nations finished for us now. Will play for pride against England.

Yeah, there are no excuses for Ireland defense sleeping in Wales try but it was Sexton who gave the ball away in the first place. Then he missed a pretty easy (or at least it seemed to be :D) penalty. Shame because Ireland are my favorite international side.

Anyway, I think it was a good year to start watching rugby, looking forward to the World Cup already ;D

Finally Sexton shows the form he's shown for Leinster. Stops the Grand Slam. Another great win over England now let's carry that to the World Cup

Today I don't care. Ireland cost themselves this championship. Too many penalties given away by trying to play it in the wrong areas, knock ons, etc. They beat themselves. If they can carry the form of today where the cut that sh*t out it could be good times. Plus. . . Did I mention we beat the English at another one of their own games. Excellent!

England Grand Slam Champions 2011 Fail

It would have been if it wasn't for those pesky Irish...

      Nike FAIL.

I love it when England get smashed!. Absolutely love it!. A tough tournament for the Welsh this year, we didn't help ourselves at all really, basic errors cost us dearly. Never mind. Next season eh.

Well done Ireland on the weekend, Sexton was outstanding at fly half and O'Driscoll was as immaculate as ever. One of the best centres of all time.
