North American Supporters Convention

The Calgary Branch of the Liverpool FC Supporters' Club is working with other branches to bring together Liverpool fans from across North America and the world. The convention has been set for the weekend of June 10-12, 2011 at Treasure Island in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here is the itinerary:

- Friday night: Informal meet and greet from 7-9pm with open bar service
- Saturday - ONE of:
    - Golf Tournament
    - Tour of Las Vegas
    - Free Day
- Saturday night: Banquet Dinner with special guests to be announced!
- Sunday morning brunch

Early Bird Pricing (ends February 28, 2011):
LFC Supporter's Convention  $300.00 U.S.
LFC Supporter's Convention + Golf  $400.00 U.S.
LFC Supporter's Convention + Area Tour  $400.00 U.S.

Starting March 1st:
LFC Supporter's Convention ONLY  $359.74
LFC Supporter's Convention + Golf  $459.95
LFC Supporter's Convention + Area Tour  $459.95

We've blocked off rooms at Treasure Island at the rate of $119.99 +tax for Friday and Saturday. The rate drops to $79.99 +tax on Thursday and Sunday if you want to extend your stay in Las Vegas. There is an OPTIONAL fee of $20 per person that includes:

- In-room high speed Internet access
- Fitness Facility access
- Access to the VIP viewing area for Sirens of TI show (weather permitting)
- Daily newspaper available from Guest Services
- Printed boarding passes, notary service, copies and faxes (up to ten pages) at the Business Center
- In-room local and toll free calls
- 2-for-1 cocktail (one per stay)
- 2-for-1 Lunch Buffet (Monday-Friday, one per stay)
- $20 credit for a future stay

Any and all profits made from the convention will be donated to:

      - Hillsborough
      - The 23 Foundation
      - The Marina Dalglish Appeal

Definitely keen! Will look into it more, but just at first view here looks like fun. Vegas + Liverpool convention? I mean seriously, talk about the perfect set up

I am still trying to decide if I want to go. If I go, I will be coming alone. It would be great to meet some of you. It would make it worth going.

I would love to go to this...but being a broke college student getting a hold of the money may be an issue. 

I am thinking about going, trying to figure out how to make the financial aspect work and be curious to see who the speakers are at the dinner.

The speaker at the dinner on Saturday Night:  Banquet Dinner with Anfield Legend Bruce Grobbelaar.  Bruce won six league championships, 3 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 5 Charity shields, and the European Cup for Liverpool.  He was known for his flamboyant and eccentric style including the spaghetti legs that helped win the European Cup.

I wish I would go . But unfortunately i am in a confusion that i will be able to go or not because of my disgusting exams. will miss it

I don't know what convention you are talking about since it has not happened. The convention is June 10-12 of 2011. Also, they are having a legend at the dinner but no new or senior players.

wish I knew about this...went to Vegas a couple of months ago, never heard anything about this

Thank God its not happened yet, after reading above some of post I thought I missed this event which is quite interesting for me.
Looking forward for 10-12th of June.
