I guy a went to college with is a baggies fan.

I almost feel sorry for him - out goes any attempt to play football, which the baggies love, and in comes the football equivalent of the anti-christ.

God help them - they'll need it.

Oh no, WBA used to play really nice football in the past. Now they've got a manager who doesn't play football.

Baggies fans are happy with the appointment!

Personally I can't see him keeping them up.  They have some proper footballers that aren't used to hoofball so I can see a similar reaction to his tactics as we saw at Anfield.

I feel for them really, they were playing some decent footy and RDM didn't deserve to be sacked.  Very shortsighted of the Board.

Poor WBA. Their fans seem so happy with the appointment, meaning his media friends really did a good job as portraying him as such a nice guy and deflecting the blame from his shitty football, buys and general attitude.

I too feel sorry for WBA, but as Crouchie says he leaves Fulham for US then goes to West Brom the likes of Fergie saying he's a nice bloke and didn't deserve what happened to him at Liverpool, he IS  a nice bloke but nice men don't win leagues and European cups, Great men do !

My Missus' family are Baggies, I've text my condolences. The Mother in Law text back quite simply "Joking?". Unfortunately not.

I can hear him now "If I'd been given time I would have gotten Liverpool out of the relegation battle but that's Histowy and I'm West Bwomwich Manager and given my 35 years of expewience in top flight football I'll do my vewy best".
