Good point for Wigan. Caught us asleep for the leveller. Suarez and Kelly the best two players for me. Missed Stevie and in the latter part Raul. 

Lesson in the limitations of our current squad.  Thoroughly disappointing but it could all have gone differently if Suarez had got a bit of luck with either of those two efforts that hit the woodwork.

No one played particularly well though, Kelly and Meireles deserve special mention I suppose.

Looked so promising and now....so bad,
But a points a point and its always better than none.

Surprised to be honest. I know there's no guarantees in football, but that was quite an uninspiring performance. Yes Suarez hit the post and bar, so you could argue we were unlucky, but all in all, it was all a bit flat.

Spot on, needs to go in the summer. Ridiculous wages, completely one footed, lacks any decent first touch and doesn't even have any strength to compensate for a lack of skill.

Poor performance. Missed Gerrard and Meireles when he went off. Unlucky to lose really with their controversial goal and Suarez hitting the woodwork twice. Think we deserved to win overall but still not good enough.

This performances does show how weak our squad is.

 We we're very unlucky. Wigan had an offside goal given and we hit the post twice.

Really unlucky. Wigan played well but we had the best of the chances. 2 posts for Suarez, Skrtel should of done better with a header and their goal was debatable offside.

Makes it tough to keep moving up the table with draws.

We havent played bad, won 4 on the bounce and drawing - its not all doom and gloom!

And if you going to lay into players give it a bit more than just saying there sh*te, or to get them selfs sent off!

I don't think the last run of wins has anything to do with how awful we have played today. It was Wigan at home FFS! As far as I know, we should've grabbed a win. It's not doom and gloom, but certainly a missed oportunity to get closer to Tottenham or Chelsea.

I'm not backing the stupids comments about players being absolute sh*te and getting sent off willingly, but I'm as frustrated as anyone about the game.

A bit of an international hangover today I think, but still disappointing as we all expected to win this.  Wigan played it well, fouling, delaying goal kicks etc and long ball.  We missed Raul when he went off - straight down the tunnel, so hope he's ok.

There was a period in the first half when Suarez hit the post, we should have buried them then.

Poor game. Wigan weren't good, but we weren't either.
Was disappointed with Suarez today, but he'll improve (touch and choices).

Why was Meireles taken off, was he injured?
Ngog and Jova showed why they start on the bench, and should probably stay there.
