Just saw a tweet that said Wisdom was U19 captain before moving up too. We're set for future captains that's for sure

He was mate.  We had 4 England captains at that time and now we still have 4.
We have a lot of young leaders in our midst.

Will captain England at U20 World Cup. Congrats Conor.

LFC players captain England at Senior, U21 and U20 level.

I think Rossitier also captains the u16s/u17s as well.

Suppose it's a good thing. It will develop his leadership skills even more.

Conor's going to Sheffield Utd on a 6 month loan, apparently. No problem with that, hope he gets plenty of game time.

Very good move by the club.  He needs to get some gritty lower division experience whilst fighting for promotion.

Great move for him. A lot of excitement around United right now with a new manager and they've already bought some decent players.

He will fit in very well.

I haven't seen much of this lad apart from the odd highlights clip.

Any chance someone could give me a bit of info on him please?

I like this move. It's all about getting players like Coady some first team experience. Hopefully, he gets enough minutes and comes back a better player.

Always liked what I've seen of Coady and thought he might be one to break through so hope all goes well with this move and we see him back and fighting for a first team place.

Great move for Coady. I think he will shine in Sheffield and come back an even better player. Looking forward to seeing him up against decent opposition.

I don't think this lad will make it with us, but hope he goes up to Sheffield and uproots trees to prove me wrong.

It could be a good move but it depends on a few factors, one as of yet I don't think anyone knows David Weir's style of play and two will the same bloke have the balls to stick with a young player, if things aren't working after the first few games. United have underachieved since they dropped into the third tier.

For me they haven't had the right man at the helm who's been willing to stick his neck on the block, and put his faith I what is a very bright set of youngsters at the club. Instead we've seen journeymen on huge wages be it in the first division or the Championship. I've strong ties to United and the wages some of there under achievers were on in the Championship quite simply was mind boggling.

It seems with the new signings that have been made prior to Connor's loan the club may finally have seen the light and putting there faith in youth.

All the best Connor hope to catch a cple of yr games lad. YNWA

Came on after 79 minutes with Sheffield 2-1 up. Didn't watch it so I'll leave it to others to analyse what you can from 11 minutes :)

Conor Coady with a goal inside 2 minutes. Apparently playing right mid which seems a bit strange.
