I watched him play for england when they lost to germany in chesterfield, tbh he was poor, he did hit the post but he looked very lazy.

but good luck to the lad, hope he comes on leaps and bounds :)

Thought today would be perfect for a debut. Gutted he didn't make it on, but his time will come!

Agreed, thought he could have got a few minutes match experience instead of N'Gog coming on.

Another great diary from Conor.  I like this kid, he's very mature for his age.

Definately hun.  Just the right attitude we need in our future players.

I think Joao will have an impact on Conor in all honesty. He'll have less creative work to do. Coady and Roberts are steady players who do pretty similar things whilst Joao is more creative allowing Coady to focus on his job. But he might benefit from a loan.

Nope, saw he was playing in a game the other day, think it was a reserves one. Surprised he didn't go.

Cant see the reason why he isnt in the first team with the others.

Seems a better prospect to me than Spearing. Good defensively and also good on the ball even though its playing for reserves and under 18s

I've actually found Coady to be overrated to be honest. I've never really been impressed by him. I think players like McLaughlin and Suso are much better prospects. Different positions of course, but I can see those two with first team before Coady.

I thought Conor performed well last night and looked very solid. He took his chance well to impress the manager and show what he can do.

Agree - thought it was a good debut from him - composed in the middle , tidy on the ball , played some very good intelligent passes and have some opportunities. Think he could be a good player for us - was disappointed to see him written off before he had even kicked a ball in anger.

Very limited. Average last night. Don't see him having future at club. Isn't he 20 same age as shelvey.

Don't know how many times I've seen him bossed at youth and reserve level with roddan even worse beside him
