Coady won't make it at the club you can quote me on that no better than spearing.

Why would anyone want to "quote" you on that "mark" your words.
Statements like that that don't offer more of an explanation into your opinion on why you think something.

I've given it. Limited player offers very little. A bit of a nothing midfielder. Not great defensively or offensively. Very little natural ability.

I don't like beating around the bush racer as you know and ain't going to pretend every Liverpool player is top class.

Lussey Dunn and baio all have more talent than coady and more chance of making it at the club before I get accused of been called negative.

Just something interesting he is a similar midfielder to Henderson and I see the abuse Henderson gets off some. Also think he is no where near Henderson potential or ability.

      Is that good enough racer.

Much better. I don't agree with all of it, but it helps explain your point.

I do think Baio and Lussey would sit well in Rodolfo's system.
Put Dunn in front of them.

In an ideal world with them maintaining development.

Coady could be useful in CB CDM

Agree I think coady maybe best served at centre back.

Was hoping for some debate on Coady, but now realise that had normally been with Corbs.

      Anyway.

Another solid performance from Coady last night.
That's the thing about Conor. He very rarely has a bad game.
Alex Inglethorpe even said it. He never gives you a performance less than 7. "He's a machine".

When we were discussing our midfield problems at youth level I suggested it was more about the dynamic
created by a pairing of Coady and Roddan. I defended Coady at the time and lately I think we have seen
a change in dynamic and can appreciate what Coady brings to the team, protection of the back four and a
solid/dependable platform for the rest of the team to build from.

Pelosi and Adorjan were given freedom to get at Inter Milan and we have seen Lussey and Dunn given the same.

While we look at the spectacular, Sterling, Suso, Ibe, Sinclair, Dunn, we also need to appreciate the development
of our Youth Captain. He seems ideal for Alex Inglethorpe's change of system, in line with the first team.

Significant too, and slightly off topic, is that we have now seen the youth team move away from Rafa's 4-2-3-1 for
the very first time as it links up with the first teams 4-3-3, as it should.

I agree mate.  He's the unsung hero of the midfield, ala Lucas.

Some were questioning whether he's good enough to make it in the 1st team but given time I think he will be.  This position, DM, is one that doesn't get the plaudits it should as it's a vital part in the "machine".

He's a very, very good Captain as well.

Selfish get should have given Yesil his hat trick. ;)

Vital cog in a 4-3-3 and harder to get a chance in that role given how critical a mistake could be.

      That's why he's Captain mate.

He's the penalty taker and the decision maker on the pitch, he never shirks his responsibilities and it kept Yesil hungry for his hattrick   ;)

Yesil would have played another 30 minutes if he thought he'd get a hat trick.

Wonder if he's with the 1st team squad at the weekend.  Might be worth a punt having him on the bench if Sturridge starts.

Agreed. Happy to see him get some minutes. Will be interesting to see what we do with Coady next season. He's getting to that age now where we need to either give him first team minutes or send him on loan for experience.

If he impresses in u20 world cup I would like to see him in pre season before sending out on loan.  If he is good enough I'd like to see him get some minutes in premier league games when we're comfortably up and carling cup. If he isn't ready,  loan him in January.
