      I don't think his assault case had anything to do with this he could well have been sacked at the time.
      He was doing really well and improving but his injury really finished him as well as rather poor loan spells.
      Not sure who will take him now in the Premiership more likely Championship level at best
      i think Gerrard would have had him at Rangers if not for the assault case.

      Think he will be OK at Rangers he should find it a lot easier than the Prem.

      He's 27 years old and signs short-term deal with Charleroi after his summer release by Rangers. I would have dropped one level below Premiorship to Championship.

      When he leave us, he lost his passion since he played well under being local Reds.

      Had a good run in our title challenge then injury and some really poor off field stuff got in the way.

      There was a time he was loved here, wish him well in  whatever he does next.
