I'm sure everyone knows who this is but I really admire his work.

One of my absolute favorites he is. Lauras Dad saw him play in a cafe while he was in college before he was famous as well! Inception, Dark Knight, Gladiator etc etc etc.

Im very creative and when i play zimmers scores they help the mind to be more creative.

Modern Warfare 2 Soundtrack - 18 Exodus

How the F**k his brilliant Inception score lost out to Social Network for the oscar i have no idea. I liked the Social Network soundtrack, was perfect for the film. But the Inception soundtrack was F***ing mind blowing, one of the best in years IMO in how much more epic it made the film. It fit perfectly into the feel of the film and turned the scenes into these epic breathtaking sequences that just drew you in.

Robbed. Every year the awards throw up one bad pick, this is it for me this year.

Personally I loved the Black Swan score, love Clint Mansell's stuff ever since Requiem for a Dream.. But it's not original since it's based on Tchaikovsky's stuff, so couldn't be entered for the Oscars.

Agreed totally mate!
I've got it on my ipod and can listen to it again and again. The last track, "Time", is mindblowing. I was amazed that none of the cast of inception were nominated for any awards, but even more so that Zimmer never got any for the soundtrack.
