I do not particulary rate him after the performances so far anyway but the fact he is being refused a work permit is quite ridiculous. He is a profesional wishing to apply his trade at the top level, yet randomers who sponge off the countries benefits are being let in all the time. Mind boggling.

Whats this about not impressing anyone? Anyone see him run riot down the left in the pre season match just recently? He has some pace, he can easily get past a man but needs some little tweaks to his cross. I rate him and will grow to be a much better player too.

Manucho will get one, Vela got one WTF! Its absolute non-sense that fooball club rivalry has to come into deciding someone's future and dreams.

was a bit shocked to hear he had signed a 2 year loan deal, thought Rafa might want him pushing for first team football next year.

I suppose he could always call him back but other than that it should give  him some decent experience at olympiakos

I think that may just be incase he's denied it again next year, then we don't need to sort out another loan next summer. Hopefully playing in footballs biggest European club football competition should help his cause, well... you'd like to think so anyway  ::)

Is it officially two years? I heard it was one year with the option to extend if we still don't get a work permit.

Thats the one Ed. But i'd take it they wont grant him a work permit one year after rejecting him so might as well say 2 years, Leto is.
