Wanted: Fans who remember the 1989-1991 period well

We have had a request from the Editor of the Observer Sport Monthly magazine for Liverpool fans to help with answering a few questions principally concerning the Hillsborough - end of the 1980's era.

      Message as follows:

I would like to speak to someone (or a few people) who could give me a
sense of the mood in the city during the 89 season, before and after
Hillsborough, obviously, but also in the run-up to that famous last game
      against Arsenal.

I'm pushing a thesis that that defeat marked the end of the great Liverpool
era. I know you won the title in 90, but Steve Nicol told me the other day
that something was missing even during that championship season. They all
knew that something special was coming to an end and could never be
      recaptured.

Plus, I'm keen to speak to someone who could answer a few questions about
the history of the club. Why the Kop is so-named? Was it Shankly who
introduced your celebrated passing game, and so on...

Any fans (of that 'experienced' age group) who would like to help James out then PM me and I will pass you on his contact details. I would imagine he would probably send you an email with some questions in?
