      Board Games/Games

I don't think there is a thread for this and I'm not sure if this should be actually in 'Computers, Gaming & Technology'. They are, technically, games, though.

So, what are your favourite board games as of now? as a kid? or in fact any games which are not PC or console based?

The ones I used to play/still play are:

      1. UNO Cards/Stacko
      - classics ;)

      2. Chess
      - difficult, IMO but I was kinda hardcore about it when I was younger.

      3. Scrabble

      - Not very good with words, though

      4. Battleship

      5. Cluedo
      - I have the Simpsons version of it!

      6. The Game of Life
      - Never personally had my own but played with my cousins alot

      7. Monopoly
      - Still one of my favourites and actually played the card version of it like last month. Disgusting to say that I have the Manchester United version of it. Got it as a kid  :o

Lately though, I've been playing alot of card games. Big 2 and Texas Hold'em Poker to be exact. Used to play 'Speed' alot, not sure what's it called outside of Malaysia, though.

      So, how about you guys?

Should I admit this. . . I was a chess champion in secondary school. I used to love it. Then I found drink and women.

Played a lot of chess in middle school, one kid I cold never beat, though he did go to Oxford Uni at the age of 13, so maybe I should have cut myself some slack.  Love scrabble though, still play online fairly regularly.  But my favourite game I've ever owned was a board game based on the TV show Treasure Hunt.

Played a lot of monopoly as a kid, as well as card games. Not great at Poker, but i enjoy playing it.

Our family would play cards until all night. Bottles of wine and toast to keep us going. 3 of a kind, run or more. Count them up at the end. Very competitive. Two packs needed. One of the girls always gets caught cheating

Words with Friends anyone? It's available on the Droid and mytouch now. Kevinsan1ty is my name :)

      1) Scrabble: Absolutely addicted.

      2) Monopoly. Had a girlfriend break up with me cause I was too competitive with it. I didn't argue.

      3) Uno: Fun for all ages.

My favorite is Clue. I have 3 different versions of the game. I also like to play Monopoly and Uno.
