A 23 year old who made his Barcelona debut 5 years ago and only gone on to make another 33 appearances since then.

I think we can go for better players.

From the few games I have seen of him this past few weeks, he looks a player to look out for. Don't see what use sitting on Barcalonas bench is serving him though.

Same here. Remember him setting City a light down the flanks. Looks a real handful. For 5 million and no more. Off the bench and rotating on the wings i would like to see how he goes. Worth a punt.

Apparently sitting on Barcelona's bench is better than first team football elsewhere cause all these Barca Strikers and Wingers don't want to leave. Which I find hilarious cause Messi and Pedro are really young and with the midfield of Barca and the supply on the wings Villa could bag 30 goals just standing around in the box the whole game. I just do not understand why some players would rather suckle at the power tit instead of playing first team football for one of the stalwart teams in Europe.

I havn't seen too much of him, apart from a lot of highlights, but what strikes me, is his nice balance and tons of self belief.

It's great to be linked with skilful players again after a couple of years of water carriers and donkeys.

There's no shame on being on Barca's current bench, how's he meant to displace Messi?

He has played 25 games in 5 years, would people not see that as kinda worrying whoever he is with, Barc play how many games a season, people have to remember not every player linked to us is brilliant. Di Santos was playing a lot more when he was there

No, but when they target a player from Barca and with Pep and Rodolfo having worked with him, I suspect Comolli asking for their opinion and whether he could make the grade here. Personally, I think he is average but, in saying that has rarely got a look in over there.

I've seen him a couple of times never really being impressed he is a big step down in quality and it is easy to understand why he has played so little for them

Can't see that happening. I think Barca are willing to sell, especially if you add in the signing of Sanchez. Might free up some wages if they sell him to us.
