Andre Wisdom Player Thread

My MOTM today. Had a very solid game and looks mature beyond his years.

With the emergence of Sterling and Suso, it's easy to forget about this lad and how well he has stepped up to the challenge of playing in the first team.

I thought he was fantastic today. Solid in defense and oh so comfortable on the ball. We have ourselves a jem for the future indeed with Andre

Was hard to pick a man of the match but I agree Andre had a decent game, loved when it came to a 50/50 with Walters, one of the most solid players in stature you're likely to meet and came out on top, if both will be left with a bruise or two.

Agree with you, he was good today, more than held his own against a physical Stoke side.  Well played Andre!

Andre didn't put a foot wrong today, excellent again and also my MOTM.

I'm a big fan of Martin Kelly but I have to say Andre has settled in even better than Kelly did when he got into the first team.

Exactly same mate .

Was sublime looked like he played a 1000 first team games. Comfortable on the ball, not phased by the Stoke donkeys and intelligent enough with his movement off the ball.

He has been awesome since he was brought into the first team! Absolute beast too!

He will have much harder games to face in the prem but did very well yesterday.

Wisdom has left the England Under 21 squad due to a shoulder injury

That's bad news, hope it's just a precaution and a niggle. Was just beginning to establish himself would hate for that to be halted by injury.

He has been so good that I forget that he is so young and inexperienced.
The youth coaching team have done a great job with him.
Super impressed.

One thing is I think his size and build are ideal for a modern day defender to go along with the football philosophy he played in the academy.

Another very impressive performance tonight from this young lad. He looks and plays like a seasoned professional.

Only Assaidi pipped him to MOTM for me.

Pretty much faultless again. I laughed early on in the second half when a player barged into Andre's back in an attempt to shove him out of the way but just stopped dead and bounced off   He's a beast!

Wouldn't think he has only just broken through into the team, looks very composed and assured!

Pretty spot on there H2H do think he showed signs of tiredness (didn't interfere too much with his game) near the end and despite being young playing at this level is a lot more intense than what he's used to. Think he might struggle to play the full 90 on the weekend.
