Dreams

Anyone tried to master the lucid dreaming thing? I was interested in it a few years back, but only ever managed to fully control one. I can still fairly easily realise I'm dreaming and become lucid, but can't control it. More often than not, i'll realise i'm dreaming, become lucid and then begin to wake up. It's so frustrating.

A few interesting ways to practice it by the way:

Try to turn the lights on/off - you can't change lighting in a dream
Try to read a clock - you can't read numbers in a dream
Pinch yourself - you can't feel pain in a dream
Read a book - you can't focus on more than 1-2 words in a dream

I've tried this before with varying success. Try looking in a mirror in a dream, though it can be a little scary. Another one is too knock on a wall before you sleep and then try when dreaming with the intention of putting you're hand through the wall.

 A good way too is keeping a dream journal so you can recall dreams better and notice trends.

I've looked into it before but never had the motivation to do it. Very rarely have lucid dreams and have never managed to control one.

All my lucid dreams turn to nighmares.
Now when I feel it happen I just wake myself up.

Just had a very long, bizarre dream that got cut off when the alarm went off.

It finished we me crawling under a table at work to see what was causing a bunch of noise, and chasing a baby gorilla out of the factory!

Think it had this head as well, cheers for the fu**ed up dreams, Res!

How can you be sure it was not a Baby gorilla but Wayne Rooney you were dreaming about,it's an easy mistake to make.

Ever had that dream were you have a normal day at work, then the alarm goes and you have to do it all again in reality?.. cant get away from the place even in bed..

I've never had those sorts of dreams, surprisingly .

I usually have sexual dreams, or nightmares .

Sexual dreams.... I never get them

Years ago, I had a sexual dream that I was having sex with a pillow, then when i woke up, noticing I had sex with the pillow. I have never used that pillow since .

I once had a dream I was with two girls in a limo.
Champagne and everything. Pretty sweet.

You get the two girls in the limo, with champagne. While I get a soggy pillow. I have failed somewhere down the line. 

I need to bone my wife on Skyrim, get that satisfaction back .

Yeah, they started freaking out.
Apparently it brought back bad memories.
I tried to offer them straws but that only made things worse.
