I wish pacheco would start because IMO he is the best young player we have and we should be blooding him. He is just a class act and would do no harm with his creativity and eye for goals.

A very bold statement from Kenny. Looks like we guys are going to learn a lot about our players. Finally we are going to see Lucas in a more attacking role and Kuyt upfront. It will do us no harm to see if Cole, Poulsen, Spearing can deliver for us.

I think King kenny has made a massive mistake in choosing to play Kyrgiakos against fast nippy forwards like Braga's Lima Keita and Cesar. I know i shouldn't be doubting King Kenny's decisons or the big man Sotos' ability, but i think the big Greek is more suited to long ball merchants not fast technical players.

I hope his inclusion doesn't prove to be disastrous tonight. 

If big Sotos' inclusion is forced because of injury to Agger, we surely have another faster CB option than Soto?
I hope i'm wrong but i feel Soto is too slow for Braga's pacey forward line.

Don't think people saying Lucas is going to be used a bit more forward are right. Remember last season Rafa used Spearing more pushed forward and I think you will see the same tonight. Lucas and Poulsen are going to be doing some real defensive work.

I used to think the same ,but for some reason kenny doesn"t see it that way ,he would see stuff that we wouldn"t ,obviously his performance in training isn"t up to grade.

Don't think people saying Lucas is going to be used a bit more forward are right. Remember last season Rafa used Spearing more pushed forward and I think you will see the same tonight. Lucas and Poulsen are going to be doing some real defensive work.

Or maybe Kenny is trying to find out Lucas best position. As we all know there is this great debate on the not so small matter of whether Lucas is a DM or not? Anyway i am quite certain Lucas is going to play more positive than usual.

But he seems to be one of our best performers in the reserves. Him and Suso should be blooded imo if not we will never know if they are good enough and of course playing in matches like this would give dani and suso the confidence and incentive to work even harder because as we all know pacheco is too good for the reserves but hardly even gets a chance for the 1st team. He must be dejected to see other players whom he outshone in the european championships getting into 1st teams for their clubs while he is languishing in the reserves or warming the bench.

I was half expecting a weakened lineup so cant say im surprised. If we get a 1-1 that'll be a good result.
