You know if you take the silly challenge from Soto away and we had gotten a 0-0, it would have been an acceptable result. It sucks that Jonjo is injured, it would have been good to pick him to help Raul with the creative stuff.

What I don't get is why Lucas isn't used as a creative player when Gerro is out. I mean he used to play as an attacking midfielder in Brazil, surely he hasn't forgotten those skills. I thought he played ok tonight and am not bagging him in any way, just a little confused as to why his old skill set isn't utilized when we really need it.

Anyone got a viewpoint on this? (preferably not from a Lucas hater)

Dire performance from just about everyone.  Having said that we'll win at Anfield and go through to the next round.

Yep my intial reaction was it wasn't a bad result and I'm sticking by that-theybeat Arsenal 2-0 at home and thrashed Celtic, we shouldn't be too dissapointed with the result and the second half perfomance was decent.

My opinion but I think it would have something to do with him being a better tackler than Raul, I like Raul but have seen him several times this season sh*t out of challenges.
