Yep, all her sales on iTunes (no figures exist but it's an estimated 40,000 sales at $1-ish a pop).  I guess she must be.  It's clever if you ask me, you don't think people will buy her next single/album now because of it?

Not taking anything away from her gesture as it's top class and I don't believe that she donated it for the sole purpose of gaining favour with consumers (I don't know her well enough to make that judgment).

This is an awful song but I don't understand all the attention being given to it.

For me it's no worse than 'Umbrella' by Rihanna, which is one of the most hateful songs ever, but people actually found it good.

Rihanna actually has talent though and has a bunch of other songs that are good on a successful album, you can't compare the two.
