Great that Agger is back and ready to play. Very interesting that Spearing got the shout but i hope he does himself justice. Also, it is great to see Kuyt, Carroll and Suarez starting. Come on lads!!!

Agreed mate. I reckon with both Carroll and Suarez on the pitch though, there's a good chance we will get more than one goal. It's just whether they get the service.

And by service you mean no hoofing?

Whilst we can throw the blame on Carra and Skrtel, for them to stop hoofing it up Lucas/Spearing/Meireles need to drop deep, demand the ball and play some decent forward thinking passes. And if we go 3-5-2 then Johnson and Kuyt need to provide movement to be picked out.

On Thursday, bar Carroll, we were too static.

I imagine Kuyt will be on the wing, with three centre-backs, although if Kuyt is up front let's hope someone has taught him about the offside rule.

Like the look of this one. Its pretty flexible. Kuyt can play Forward and wing. Johnson can play full back and wing. Suarez gets the free role. He can cut in from wide too. Meireles gets the attacking mid role. Gonna bamboozle the Sunderland defence.

Very happy with the lineup. I just hope a few of them arn't feeling the effects of the midweek game 'cos Sunderland will work us very hard. I think we have too much up front for Sunderland to cope with IF our midfield can hold their own today.

Yeah but missing 2 midfielders happens quite often throughout a season. Reinforcements in the central midfielder area are probably needed.
