What's the online game play like on this game? Is it the same match system like over on cod, or is it different?

Different by a long way, id say its more tactical and intense. Its more for the mature gameplayer IMO.

Having borrowed and finished the first two Battlefield Bad Company games,
 I was over in a mates playing COD. Man the arcade bonus feel to it wrecked my head.

No you can barely see it, when i give my friend a go he always asks after a kill "Is he dead" IMO its better that way, as Racer said i hate the arcade look of a big yellow +50 blinding ya .

It is ranked that way but also by Squad score and skill level. You'd have to play it to know what i mean.

I was racking up the points.
Started laughing halfway through it. It' ridiculous. Especially when you're attempting some stealth and then this big number pops up.

On BC2 you only really know you've killed them by the sound of the points popping up, you don't really notice them otherwise.

Well I've borrowed my mate's pc to watch these clips and I CAN'T WAIT for this game to come out! It looks incredible!

I do play CoD but I agree it is very arcade like & BFBC2 wipes the floor with every CoD put together. I would even sell all my CoD's to get BFBC2.

I hate the fact that you can't tell whether you've made a kill or not in BC2.

You can tell straight away by the sound, even if you don't see the numbers come up. Are you playing with the sound off?

I don't have it, but have played it and yes, the sound was down...

That, and the endless running before coming across an enemy were deal breakers for me. Hope Battlefield 3 is different in those regards.

I actually can't wait.

Looks like it's going to be out of this world on the PC, hopefully the console versions will be as good!

FYI - The graphics settings on the PC version are all on low.

The PC version is going to look much, MUCH better than the console versions.

Remember that consoles - even the newest ones - run hardware that is up to 4 years old. PCs don't.

EA have said themselves that BF3 will be optimised for PC, not consoles.

Someone (Can't remember if it was on here or not) described it as on COD you can have one really good player who can carry the team by litterally running around killing everyone, where as in Battlefield you are only as good as the players in your team.

You don't have to sit on the mic discussing tactics with everyone but after a few games you start to pick up on what people are doing, and can help them. For example rolling in as a passenger in a tank towards the objective jumping out to plant the bomb while your buddy in the tank distracts people.

In COD I obsessed about my kill/death ration, on BC I couldn't care less, winning feels much sweeter.

Goes without saying Res its just a pity i wouldn't have a hope of running it on my laptop and i cant play using the keyboard. 64 player conquest would be amazing on PS3.
