The "funny" thing now will be to see what Roy says in the press conference, got a lucky win but will probably say WBA were brilliant today.

We were f***in pathetic today, Stoke passed the ball better (I was watching their game at the same time) and I don't think it's fair to blame only the defence for the hoofing. In the start of the 2nd half it was clear they were trying to pass the ball more, kept it on the floor for a while, but the midfield didn't offer anything, they didn't come to get the ball, so hoofing was the only option. Agger wasn't doing any better than that when he was playing either, it's not like if he is the creative genius who takes the ball from behind and create chances. As a team, we were poor.

As much as I like Lucas it's games like today that makes me feel not so sure about him, where the F**k was he all game? Spearing had a decent game vs Sunderland but I don't think he's good enough.

We lost, we deserved to lose.

Ref was sh*t but they were the better team and won on merit.

I just can't wait for next season so we don't have to see the same shitty players again.

Spurs dropped points and we missed an opportunity to catch up.

Can't describe how dissapointed I am, we deserved a point though, people should realise what factors led to the loss though.

More than confident to say that if Johnson and Agger hadn't gone off, the result would have been completely different.

Lady luck wasn't with us and that's the way it goes sometimes, unfortunately.

      Shitty referee didn't help either.

Only 7 games left now. Roll on next season.

whilst it didnt help, we created f*** all. we got out numbered, out fought and out played in the middle of the park. and that is why we lost.

I only seen the game in parts so I'm going to reserve judgment.

But for the large part, it seems we lacked the desire and imagination to drive forward with the quality we expect from a Liverpool side. And the ref didn't help things.

Meanwhile little pacheco has had a good game for norwich, could have done with him today.

Well this squad needs a complete overhaul if we are going to match the dizzy heights of 08/09.

Carroll had a couple of decent efforts if I remember rightly.  He only had to move and had foul after foul against him.  I think he got one in his favour all game.  The West Brom defenders had clearly been told be physical with him (as per the now famous tactical flip chart meeting!!).

We created few chances, but the ones we did were given wrongly offside or we were fouled and the ref did nothing - utter joke today.

This, people have to remember the injuries and fatigue caused by internationals.

No excuse really, West Brom had players playing international games too.

We lost that game in midfield today, long before Soto's two incidents.

Had we competed and won the midfield battle, chances are we'd have won that game.

Tbh a lot of our players are mid table standard and almost everyone of them gave a mid table performance!

We need a midfield boss, like Alonso used to do.  We need to keep the ball and be patient.  Some wide players and fit full backs will help.

Lack of width is doing us in. Teams compacting the midfield, impossible for us to play without wingers.

So if Soto didn't make the errors the two goals, caused by Soto's errors would have gone in eh? Bollocks.

That and the fact that we don't have someone who'll F***ing get stuck in at the centre of the park and drive us forward.

We're going to remain horribly inconsistent until we buy and buy big.

Agree here, wingers would give the central midfielders more space to play.

Only Reina, Suarez and Skrtel had a decent game IMO.
