Man City - It will end in tears

Honestly. Something is going to happen with Thaksin

      From the BBC....

Thailand's Supreme Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on corruption charges.

The ruling came after Mr Thaksin and his wife failed to attend court in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

The court was to hear the first of a series of cases being brought against the former leader, who was ousted in a military coup last year.

Since then he has been living in the UK and recently bought Manchester City FC.

Mr Thaksin had been ordered to appear at the hearing to listen to charges that he abused his power while in office, by helping his wife buy land from a state agency at a favourable price.

He denies any wrongdoing and says the charges against him are politically motivated.

Totally agree.....if you get ousted by a military uprising and are being labelled a despot you know alot of people want your blood.....on the flip side thought city played great on saturday. Sven has bought well. Like the look of Elano and looking forward to seeing Bojinov showing a glimpse of his earlier promise.
PS How many of Sven's new signing you reckon have a get out clause if any of the big 4 start sniffing around?

      Where have you been hiding?

But yeah - some good acquisitions - Sven's a decent club manager no question - but I think the whole Thaksin thing will rumble all season.

They may be from the wrong end of the East Lancs Rd but I have to say Man City are Great theater!!!! First they get relegated before coming back up and beating Man Ure 5-1 then the Plunge right down the league then they come back and fill their team full of Scousers and now they have the most wanted Chairman England has ever seen and a manager that penetrates anything that stands still for more than 1 minate!!! Blue Moon.................... ........................ :D

Let's hope the tears don't start till after they've stuffed United.

Mind you, maybe we should be looking for the draw!

They were unlucky to get beat against Arsenal today!

Some good attacking play first half! Seemed to get away from them second half though, but good penalty save by young Kasper!

Anyone know if Kasper could qualify to play for England - that would solve McClaren's worries. Just seen him interviewed on motd and there's not a trace of a danish accent!

I do honestly think he follow his arl fella and become a good keeper
