Adam Morgan (LFC to Yeovil Town)

A "poacher" is exactly the type of forward we need on the books, and Morgan is just that for us. Suarez is a creator, Carroll is a target man, Kuyt is a workhorse, Ngog is a... something..., and Morgan can be our poacher.

On topic, hope Morgan gets first team action next season, he changed the game when he came on for England u17's in the World Cup the other night, his pace is good to see too.

Really really hope he can fulfill his potential. Looks to be an excellent talent.

Great movement, good on the ball and a real poacher. Scores for fun and it comes so easy to him. Always seems to find himself in goalscoring positions and nine times out of ten, he will score.

the way he dropped deep and played the ball through to stirling for the 3rd shows there is more to his game than just finishing too

Must admit I like the look of this lad although I don't think we will see him in a first team squad this season unless there is an injury crisis of some description. I think the comparisons with Fowler are fairly on the money in that he's a clever little player, is great finisher, is left footed and is prolific without necessarily looking like your typical modern day physical specimen of a player. We deffo need a poacher so it would be fantastic if he makes it through. he'll get his chances in the League Cup early next year I should think.

There's only one Robbie Fowler and comparing a teenager to the greatest finisher in the history of the Premiership is adding far too much pressure on him. Let him progress as the first, last and only Adam Morgan as opposed to the "next" Robbie Fowler.

Good point.  I have made the comparison myself, although I have said that his playing style is similar to Fowler, not that he is the next Fowler.  Morgan is not excessively quick/fast, he is not a skill player, nor is he a target man...... His finishing is lethal, and that is reminiscent of Robbie Fowler. 

think kuyt and bellers will be out of the picture in two years so hopefully morgan can get games  then...cant see him being a first team regular for a long while yet..andy has to be given priority IMO

As already mentioned, think this lad could become a big player for us.

Reminds me of God too, seems to always find the side net when he scores and has that knack of being in the right place at the right time, and you cant teach that.

Wonder if he'll be thrown towards the deep end once the Suarez ban kicks in? Id have him on the bench against Oldham in the FA Cup so he can start getting used to the taste.

Tell you what, he looks like a far better natural goalscorer than anyone else in the first team squad, so why not give him a chance? WAHS is spot on, Oldham in the FA Cup seems like a perfect place to give him a first chance.

Another two goals for him today in the u-18s Derby (we won 3-1)

Wonder if people are still banging the drum about him not scoring. Takes his total to 13 goals combined in youth and reserve games this year and our leading scorer for the u-18s. Still can't believe people thinking Ngoo was a better prospect or even Eccleston for that matter.

That is FANTASTIC. Just fell in love with Ammo a bit more.

Scored a fabulous goal today against Huddersfield, struck it beautifully and hit the underside of the bar and went in, now why can't that happen to our first teamers
