Reminds me of a Robbie Fowler goal against Arsenal (suppose he was falling over rather than struck it beautifully though). Nice to hear he's still banging them in, keep it up Morgan lad.

I'm generally against throwing in youngsters but god we need a goal scorer - worth a punt?

I think all our problems stem from the strikers profligacy in front of goal which has eroded all confidence

I would like to give him a sub appearance similar to Sterling, to see how he reacts. But next year could be the year he gets his chance to play a game or so. I would rather have him keep developing and send him on loan next season.

Tbf I think the way they've been doing it is keeping Morgan in the U18's so the club can keep an eye on the progress of Ecclestone. If Nathan had been moved on I think Adam would have made the striker position in the ressies his own. Ecclestone isn't a bad shout either; he's in form, got the pace we lack, can play multiple positions

Agree the lad isn't ready yet. He is out of youth at the end of this year and will get reseve team footy next year and perhaps then he'll get a little look in with the first team set-up. Ngoo is closer to being ready than Morgan I think although I think it'll be tough for either of them to break through at this level. Sterling is a FAR better bet than either of these two lads in my opinion.

Right place, right time kind of finish that we struggled with last season. He seems very good for his age, almost comes naturally to him, but I still don't think he's ready for first team action. We should see how he does in the reserves this coming season then maybe consider a short-term loan in January.

Maybe a few games in the early Europa League/League Cup games will be good first team experience for him. So good to see him get the goal, right place, right timing, sweet 

Was really happy for Morgan it's been ages since i seen a guy that happy and proud to score for us.

Rodgers had some nice words to say about him and im guessing he will figure in the first team one day in the future. 

Fantastic for the lad to get that goal, pre season or not it's always a massive occasion to bag your first goal for the club. Already we can see he has an eye for being in the right place at the right time, exactly where the strikers should be looking to be in the box!

He does need to massively improve his passing though, especially when he got a bit cocky and went for the flick inside that could have actually cost us a goal but can't really slate him too much, was his first game, had just scored his first goal and his adrenalin levels were probably sky high.

Need to keep an eye on this lad, could have a good future!

Also how good was it to see how he celebrated his goal, was like he'd just won a cup final or something, wouldn't have thought it was a friendly!

I hope he does.. Let's see if he can pick up those positions at a higher level. Because if he does the players will find him.

Thats a big statement against Carroll. Certainly a massive opportunity for young Adam
