Oh I forgot to ask that to those I met after the game, so I finally ask here: was there any special reason for the Houllier chants? Didn't expect them! But they were nice.

One thing I really loved was chanting 'Dalglish', cause every single time the Kop did that (and they did, a lot!), KK would wave to the crowd... thought it was beautiful ;D

Because he's been ill and was our former manager.

Thats the simplest explanation to give.

Oh I didn't know he's been ill again. Probably happened when I was traveling with very little access to internet and the news

Yeah, think it was Thursday or Friday, he was admitted into hospital.

That's the reason why the Kop is heralded for it's sportsmanship and tag of "most knowledgeable fans in football", that and the applause for Foster, when he went off injured.

Yeah it would have been while you were busy traveling mate, only a few days before the game i think?

Made up for you though, our biggest win of the season and you experienced it all. Even better since you can say you were at the game that Maxi scored a Liverpool hat-trick!

the applause for Foster, when he went off injured.

I thought it was pretty nice as well, one thing I was looking forward to before the game was giving an applause to the opposite goalkeeper, as I knew it was a Kop tradition. Foster even applauded back, rapidly.

Yeah, can you imagine if Pepe got injured playing at somewhere like Stamford Bridge?

      Love this club!

I knew someone would remember my critics about Maxi :P I was thinking to myself during the game 'cant believe my first goal at Anfield was scored by Maxi!', hahaha. I'm always happy to be proved wrong by a Liverpool player though, it's the club that matters after all! ;)

Not going to say I'll suddenly want him to become a starter cause I think he's been invisible far too often but it was a great performance so well done to him, especially considering he's been on the bench quite a lot recently, so to come to the team and get a hat-trick is great stuff. If he can keep it up then could be a great squad player.

Yeah mate, I only left the ground when a steward came asking me to leave cause they had to close it, I was actually surprised about how fast the stadium empties after the game.

Felt the same when I was over mate. Ground cleared out within minutes. Stewards ushering me a long so I said Come on mate, I've come all the way from Australia for this, let me take a couple of photos. Had to get a shot of the scoreboard and remember Cas taking photos of me with my scarf held aloft with the pitch and the empty KOP in the background.

Glad you had a great time mate, was thinking about you whilst we were hammering in those goals and how much you'd be loving it.

When Shelvey went in for Robinson, at left back, for a moment I thought "what the hell, wasn't Konchesky at Nottm Forest?" :D

Quite low for a team who won 5-0, did any of the Birmingham players get positive ratings???
