Mortal Kombat

Just came out last week and I'm really interested in getting it now.

There are three editions for it - Standard, Tournament and Kollector's.

Standard - Just the usual game in a box.

The interesting ones are the other two editions.

Tournament - It comes with the game, classic skins and avatar costumes all inside a tournament arcade style fight stick-cum-case.



Kollector's - This one is going to be epic.  The European (PAL) version comes with Scorpion and Sub-Zero figurines, an art book, classic skins and avatar costume and best of all, the game comes in an epic steelbook case.



The US/Canada (NTSC) version has similar items but instead of figurines, you get a Scorpion and Sub-Zero bookends and NOT a steelbook case but the normal game case.



Also so far has a 5/5 rating on Amazon and I think 80+% on gamerankings.

In all seriousness I love Mortal Kombat, takes me back to the joystick days at Hollywood Bowl. Nothing is better than a fatality, just awesomely gory. Sub-Zero is just a beast, he's my weapon of choice.

Actually, now I'm not sure if the UK version comes with the Steelbook (that's the only thing I really want, ) but I do know a couple of European countries come with it.

Speaking of Mortal Kombat censorship, anyone who played MK vs. DC was probably deprived of the greatest fatality ever made because it was censored. They weren't allowed to show a gunshot to the head      If the game is rated 18, why do parents buy it for their 12 year olds, and then moan about it corrupting their precious minds?!

The game is awesome but really pissed off that i can't play online on the PS3

I just bought the Kollector's edition for this XD allllllll just for this.



So bad ass.

Adryan good luck trying to get a platinum trophy for this. I stopped trying to get platinum trophies for all my other games because of this game.

Hahaa.. I don't plan to get the platinum for this or for FIFA or Battlefield games!

Online trophies are just a pain in the arse. I don't mind if it's like the Uncharted 2 and 3 type of trophies (complete a multiplayer match, complete a co-op match) but .. trophies like 'win 500 matches', 'get 250 headshots with each gun' are just stupid
