I've always liked Sammy Lee, going right back to his playing days. Seeing him in this position does sadden me. I thought who ever took the Bolton job after Allerdyce was on a hiding to nothing. The job Allerdyce did to keep them in the Premier League and finish as high as they did was nothing short of miraculous and when he left the first thing I thought was Bolton will go down as I couldn't see anyone else getting them playing like Big Sam did (even if he is a crying b***ard!). So it gives me no joy at all to see Sammy Lee in this position, but I will look farward to my annual trip to the Reebok this season as we haven't won there for a few years!!!

Looking doomed already - don't seem to have the same make-up as under Big Sam and I think Little Sam could struggle with some of the troublesome players at the reebok

Hope that Sammy Lee can get out of this mess. Big Sam did loads of good work at bolton and its hard for a club like that to carry on so well after such a big personality has left. I was too young to see him play but from the interviews and what ive seen of him he seems one of the most honest people in footbal so i hope they can stay up.

He'll be alrght I think he has to use some alternative tactics though which includes not selling Anelka if possible because given the right service he'll be class for them.  Also I think they could do with being a bit more passinote, I watched the game against Newcastle and I think they were just grateful Newcastle didn't get many more goals and never looked like they could turn it around.  I reckon Lee will get them winning just give it time.

Lee's off the mark finally we should see more like this as the season goes on after all winning must be in his blood, he's a scouser! 

I think he will manage to keep them up this season, but its next season that i can't see them surviving as they will lose their big players by then.

Im loving it ive got a mate whose a Bolton fan but i dont think they will go down with Anelka getting the goals to keep them up.
