Liverpool tracking Atletico Bilbao whizzkid winger and Bart Simpson look-a-like

Liverpool are tracking Iker Muniain, the whizzkid dubbed ‘Bart’ by Atletico Bilbao team-mates who reckon he’s a dead ringer for Homer Simpson’s young lad.

Reds scouts have spent several months watching the 18-year-old winger, who has been one of the revelations of La Liga this season.

And director of football Damien Comolli could even sanction a move for him this summer.

looooove this kid. Goin to Bilbao for a semester so I was hopin to watch him at San Mames but I wouldn't mind seein him at Anfield! Great ball control, keeps it right at his feet

Great talent and will be a massive star in the future. I think it would be best for him to stay at Bilbao. If he moves here, he may not be first choice and that would harm his development.

Always thought he looked like a young Torres. From what I have seen he is a good player. Didn't realise he was that young.
