Thanks again everyone. Didn't see it coming myself tbh.
Funny thing is, I've not had the slightest urge to have one since. Was even sat with a group of smokers a few times today too and felt no desire to have one whatsoever. I really can't understand what happened but, I just
had to have one the other night. I could blame the alcohol but, I've managed to drink quite a few times without issue.
Maybe it will happen again sometime although, I hope not but, as long as I don't become a regular smoker again I'll be happy. Having a few cigs one night in almost 2 months is a hell of a lot better than smoking 15-20 a day every day. I have come to the conclusion that it's like being on a diet and after 2 months of it I had to give myself a little treat but, instead of chocolate or something, I had a ciggie. That's my analogy of it anyway and I'm sticking by it
Stick with it Racer. I think the fact that I destroyed what was left in the pack and threw them in the bin before going to bed that night was the best thing to do. If I hadn't, they would have still been there the next morning and it probably would have been a case of 'Oh, I may as just well finish the pack' the next day and before you know it, you find yourself back in the cycle again.
