Best thing about Suarez is that he makes his teammates better. I wonder what Torres thinks when he sees what Kuyt and Maxi have done since Luis came on.

saurez is absolutely incredible high work rate and high skill set never stops trying. he had SEVEN fouls against him which shows he is durable. just wonder what we can do next year. if kenny had arrived earlier might have got 4th spot

First off, WOW some of the play we saw there tonight was just fantastic. All them players out there can be proud if themselves after that performance. A lot of them out there, it was twice the performance we saw from them 6 months ago.

I'm going to have to give Maxi MOTM. The last time I gave it to Suarez, deservedly as was tonight, but ge deserves one now, 7 goals in 3 games is some feat his all round play was good I thought!

I only watched the first half an hour of the match as i had training but it shows how well Suarez played tonight that the man who got a hat-trick, is not coming first in the MOTM vote.

I love how Gerrard completely undermined Hodgson I remember his quotes:
"We are enjoying the training" = We didn't when Hodgson was in charge
"Kenny brought us all together" = We weren't all together when Hodgson was in charge

You could tell be Stevie's comments on Suarez at FT that he just can't wait to be on the pitch with him, couldn't praise him enough (like the rest of us).

I'd say we're playing better stuff now than we were at the end of the 08/09 season.

We were all saying back then, "Let's have Barcelona, we'd probably beat them". I think we'd give them one hell of a game right now though, even with Gerrard, Kelly and Carroll missing.

The strenght in depth we have found in our youth is inspiring. Title challenge with some key signings in the summer. Clear out the journeymen. Use youth for depth. Would probably allow us to balance the books better too. Stars on big money, youth costing significantly less than the Cole's and Jova's of this world. I've never looked forward to a new season like this before
