      I'd take that alright.

But the heart says we'll win everything :)

A comma or two would make that sound far less flirtatious.

      I'll pass, thanks  :D

Top 6 if I'm being honest. We have a load of new blood and one or two of them look a bit injury prone. I can already see the strain on kk, he barely contained his bile when a tv wallah asked about winning the league - no..... give him and the boys a bit of breathing space.

Shouldn't your name contain double L at the end of Liddell. (see my name for correct spelling)

A poignent time to reflect.12 months ago, many of us were "manning the barricades",our club in despair. We were literally on the brink of meltdown.I thank God that we stood together as fans,I am sure that that gave our new owners the confidence,to take on the previous owners,(against all odds).Over the last 4 years there has been many "Heroes" appear on our websites, none more than on this one.I would not dream of embarrasing anyone by naming them,we all know who they are.As the new season dawns, once again,we really are Liverpool Football Club,we have differing opinions, but we remain one unit.We always trust our manager and players, now I believe, that we can trust our owners once again.Sentimental my *rse, bring on the gobshites.

I'm not really sure where I should post this thread but I think it's important that I get this message across to my fellow Liverpool fans. I fully expect us to win the League this season and nothing has changed my view, even after the draw yesterday. What I am about to tell you happened over the last few weeks and has only enhanced my belief that the League title is coming back to Anfield.

I wouldn't say I'm overly superstitious but numbers play a big part in my life. I'm not going to go into detail but here's some food for thought. The reason I am placing a £100 bet on Liverpool to win the League this year, the best odds I could get are 14/1 online with totesport.

I have recently started a new job in a coal mine local to my house. This is a new start for me and my family, similar to the new start that Kenny is having with the Liverpool family.

I am currently moving house, again it is symbolic of a new start, the same as Kenny.

I have been learning various new skills in my new job and riding the supply journey is one of them, bare with me here, it will soon be explained. Every ten metres along the drift road there is a manhole or refuge, these manholes are numbered from 1 to 97. When riding the journey I have to get off at two manholes to raise the safety bars at each end of the mine. On the way out I have to get off at manhole number '19' and on the way in I have to get off at manhole '90'.

It is symbolic to myself of the year that we last won the title, 1990. The manager?, Kenny Dalglish. Not only that but manhole '19' also represents title number '19' to me.

In relation to me moving house, I am moving back to my spiritual home which is Abercrave, where I grew up and played rugby etc. as a kid. I am moving back to a place called Henneaudd, the number of the new house?, yes you've guessed it, it's number '19'.

I just thought I'd post it in here incase people might be interested and may place a bet themselves. I find it kind of spooky myself but I guess this has all happened for a reason.

I had a similar event, on the number 34 bus at precisely 11:45:32 I saw 4 magpies so I counted the number of people on the bus and there were 12 and guess what the numbers 4,11,12,33,34 and 45 weren't the lottery numbers that weekend, but I do hope you're right and good luck with your bet!

      At Anfield ;)

Did it a couple of seasons ago, weren't we the only team undefeated at home?

Or was it the only team to win at Stamford Bridge?

      Or both?

Tricky tricky start to the season.

Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and Stoke away with United at home.  5 difficult fixtures in the first 8 games those. Following 8 games have a little bit of respite.

I actually think 9 points from those 5 games would be a great points return.

If you offered me it now I'd take 13 points off our next 7 games.

1-1 draw against Sunderland at home wasn't an ideal result but alot of positives to take from that first game.

The squad is still a work in progress and the in the next few games, we can and should see a better understanding between the players. Though we didn't win and could have won the game by half time, there were numerous moments where the old Liverpool pass and move, King Kenny's style was seen especially when the likes of Jordan Henderson and Lucas making runs into the box.

Season is still early. Only four teams (Bolton, Man United, Man City and Wolves) managed to win (with Tottenham/Everton postponed) and that has put us in 5th place.

Still 37 games to play and we could easily cancel out the disappointing home draw with a win at the Emirates.

League title is still in sight.

The league will this season very quickly sort itself out I think. The top two will be the Manc clubs, and I very strongly expect Man Utd to stretch their lead in league titles over us to two. Chelsea will spend big before the end of the window, and I expect them to be third, but not close.

We will be in a dogfight for fourth along with Arsenal and Tottenham, and my hope is that we can come out on top. Kenny is doing a fantastic job IMHO rebuilding the club from top to bottom, but the best we can realitically hope for is a challenge NEXT season I think.
