Andy Carroll returns to the Liverpool starting XI for the Europa League qualification decider against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon - listen live online from 3.55pm BST.

The striker replaces the injured Raul Meireles and is the only change to Kenny Dalglish's team selection from Monday night's 5-2 win over Fulham.

Subs: Gulacsi, Kyrgiakos, Ngog, Cole, Poulsen, Robinson, Shelvey.

I'd play Flanagan on the right to:

a) Avoid Aaron Lennon
b) Have Dirk with him to help him out

as long as poulsen remains an unused sub it's a strong team.

with regards to formation i have no idea, they seem to just be playing where they feel like up front at the moment

I wonder will it be Lucas or Jay that will drop back to combat VDV? It's a bold move Harry playing 2 in midfield when we will have Suarez dropping back a bit. 

King's first start since October, hope Carroll makes bits of him.

Modric and Sandro won't know how to deal with Spearing and Lucas's work rate. As I've said many times on here, Modric is a special player, could cause some damage if we're not on our A game.

I guess Suarez will play slightly deeper, just behind Carroll.

Would play Glen at left back, would rather see Johnson play against Lennon then Flanagan.

the only thing i am afraid of is that carra and skrtel are going to find carroll with long balls every chance they get.
