My brother in laws father is good friend(sorry if this sounds like something from a rumor site ) with his dad apparently he was was won over by Kenny and Kenny was very impressed with him hence he signed for us even though he's a man utd fan just goes to show you how much of a legend the King is, he's showing the poor miss guided mancs the light

He didnt sign for us just because of KD

Can any of our youth team experts give me an update on how this lad is doing please?

I'm certainly no expert but he seems impressive whenever I've watched the U18s this season. Scored a beautiful goal against Utd in December and also got one in the 2-1 loss to City recently. I do know he's mainly played this season in the centre of midfield rather than at left wing or left back.

Haven't really seen enough of him to properly judge his qualities, though he does seem to have a great shot on him.

I'm sure debs or another regular watcher of our talented youth teams could tell you more

Only seen him a couple of times mate.  He's done ok but nothing sensational although he scored a beauty last time I saw him.  We have the very nice problem with our young players that there are so many that really stand out, week in week out but Alex rarely gets a look in.

That's not to say he doesn't have the talent or won't make it as they all develop at different ages, you only need to look at how Flanno has come on this season to realise it's silly to judge them as not good enough at 17/18.
