Peter Taylor did a good piece at HT. COming short for the ball then bollocking players in front of him for being static. Not much he could do in his role (the wrong role) that he was given.

Looks like he will fit in nicely here. Knows how to play the game, just a shame the players around him don't.

The only thing you could say is that while Henderson was the pitch against the Czechs they were doing ok, once he got subbed England seemed to fall apart.

I can understand people are saying its a poor team, and it is, but that doesn't change the fact he has been poor himself, some of the attempted long passes went straight the opposition. There were some neat passes as well, but he was poor in general, not the worse player by far.

Won't judge him on it, many an England game Gerrard has been anonymous, I'll think he'll do a lot better with Liverpool.
