When Gerrard returns he should still be playing no.10.

                 Suarez
      Coutinho             Sturridge
                   Hendo
             Lucas       Gerrard
      back 4 and migno

You'd drop Raheem with the form he's in??

Nope but he should not play every game for us while all these players I selected should IMO

Sterling may be good but his contribution to the team does not match Gerrard's in terms of assists and goals.

His pass for the second was a joy to watch.

Could watch it all day. Haven't found a gif yet :(

Absolutely brilliant two games in a row. Consistency, that's the key.

Composed performance! not the authoritative performance we've seen from him from the last 2 games, but did well I thought

Jordan WAS good again and he HAS made strides in the last few weeks, BUT is he really good enough to be playing every minute of every game as our attacking midfielder? When we needed a goal yesterday was there many of us who thought Jordan might be the one to pop up with it? Wouldn't it have been nice to have been able to bring on an alternative AM, someone with a trick, a shot from distance maybe, perhaps more of a goal threat?

Jordan has proved loads of us completely wrong, but if he doesn't play what is our alternative? I guess we'd play Alberto but he clearly isn't ready for the rough and tumble yet, if indeed he ever will be (and for the record I think he'll be a good player in time). FSG apologists take note, it's time to back the manager.

His stature on the pitch is plain to see.

His encouragement to team mates, his organisation, his constant communication, his willingness, his determination, his confidence is infectious to everyone around him.

Jordan this season seems to have grown as a person and as a player.  It's almost as though he's suddenly realised he's good enough to be a Liverpool player who deserves his starting place and if somebody wants it off him they're going to have to fight damned hard cos he aint relinquishing it with a whimper.

      Good on you Jordan lad.

Think he did well again, do believe he could have done a little more to get a touch on the ball at the end of that cracking run he made, I actually thought he was scared of hurting Hart. While understandable you can always make an honest challenge for the ball, 99 times or more out of a 100 you wont actually do any damage if you're both only going for the ball. The problems occur when people are cowardly and put that extra bit in to guard themselves at your expense, they're the challenges I hate to see.

Still well done Jordan against a very tough midfield, was the best of our midfielders again.

Posted the same about the lad earlier, as for the officials ruining a game of football, well the FA seem to think it's BR's fault.

If he gets a little braver he will be top notch couple of occasions he could have flung a boot a head at one ,might even have got some more goals , has made huge strides just needs that little bit of a cutting edge,to really kick on.

Starting to think the fee we paid for him may be justified if not a bit of good business.

Really growing in confidence and starting to run the show in midfield, runs at players, makes precise passes and gets back when needed.

      Well in Hendo.

Considering playing these last few games with a slight injury he doesn't whinge and complain and just gets on with it, cracking player he is. Well done Hendo another great game you had, MOTM for me.

Best player on the pitch today.

      MOTM.

No surprise but I totally agree.  :D His passing sublime and work-rate, as ever, unquestionable.

The thing is; the passing ability has always been there - if you'd watched him (along with Shelvey) for England U 21's you'd know that. In fact you'll have seen it during his time here too. Sure he's only previously shown that passing ability in glimpses but ain't that because Stevie is the passer in midfield?

People talk about having favourites or having a soft spot for players but the truth is; fans have players they dislike too and the good those players do is easily missed... Jordan was/is(?) one of them players. It's not a question of 'glass half empty or full' but what's in the glass. Now that more folk are starting to watch Jordan for the good he does, rather than the 'bad', they'll see the things they may have 'missed' before.

Also, as he becomes less 'disliked' people will start to forgive him the odd mistake - just like they do with their personal favourites. That stray pass won't get a mention (same as when Stevie makes it); that miss, with only the keeper to beat, will be forgiven more readily (same as when Coutinho does it) and that missed tackle, ignored (same as when Allen misses it).

I'm well chuffed for the lad.  8)
