Missed him todays game, missed his energy and desperation. Was never a red either, said it then and I'll say it now

Turning point of the season for me. Never thought he was as valuable to the team until these last 3 matches.

Was just coming in to say that. That red card might have done more to hurt our chances than anything else.

Anything else..... apart from not strengthening the squad when we had the chance.

Henderson has been badly missed, but the problem of his absence has been exacerbated by the lack of viable replacements. Lucas is just not mobile enough for the role and I feel that too many players were having to do too much running to make up for the fact.  I think we are already asking the players to do a lot of Gerrard's running for him, asking them to do Lucas' running as well was a bit too much.

Yes it is the end of a very hard season, but the players shouldn't look as leg weary as they did in the last 20 minutes playing one game a week.

While I think most now appreciate Henderson much more than they used to, I think we may all have underestimated just how much he brings to the team.

I genuinely believe had he not been sent off we would have won the league.

Testament to how much the lad has improved has been badly missed didn,t think i would be saying that 11 months ago.

always supported this lad .I didn't think he was a world beater when he came but he just seemed so keen to work hard and improve and he has improved massively. He is one of the first on the team sheet for me now.

Agreed. Think the last three games have indicated just how much we've missed him.

He/We might look back on that Red Card and think what the F**k was I/He thinking? Not his fault though, he was trying to do the team thing, just got his feet in the wrong position.

Obviously a big blow but I don't think it cost us as much as the title.

We lacked a final ball against Chelsea which he never really has done all season. We did see against Palace at the end we missed him a lot but we could of easily switched Allen over to cover Glen instead of Lucas and we might not have collapsed like we did. But up to that we didn't really need him either.

I obviously wish he was in the side these past three games but did his red card cost us the title? I don't think so. If anything I think one miserable slip did.

should not have been a straight red in my opinion. He's got to be aware you  can't give the ref an opportunity to send you off though. I have a feeling we'd have done better with him in our team.  We'd probably have won the league.

That we've missed this lad is not, in my book, in any doubt. Ironic given his virtual ever-presence that it's taken him not being there for him to be fully appreciated but hell that what this ol' forum is about...opinions.
