If Keita gets a chance to play 90 minutes and is as poor as Hendo has been then fine but he hasn't.  Do you expect him just to come on and change everything from the bench

He's had 5 years or whatever to nail down a place. Tbh I don't 'expect' anything from him at this stage.   If he comes on/starts, and does well, when he's actually fit, then great.  But he's not someone Jürgen trusts from what I can make out based on team selections, particularly in big games.

Isn’t that what subs are meant to do?

Not a single one of them played well, they were all as bad as each other. When Ox and Keita came on they couldn’t have looked less enthusiastic and up for it.

Huge gulf in midfield quality today (based on performance)

When he has started and off the bench at times he has done well on the whole. I think back to Utd game before Pogba assaulted him he ran the show from the advanced position he cannot play the holding role needs freedom and no better presser  which our system doesn't really lend itself to in most games

Yes like he did against Leicester . If you have ever played football before it's  not always that easy to put your stamp on a game in 20 mins especially when  you are asked to play position which is not your favourite

I thought he should have been hooked instead of Milner today. Looked leggy today but I can’t say anything as I could hardly walk after tidying the garden yesterday 😬

You can't practice for something you don't know is going to happen . The game you are referring to is when Robbo was sent off so all plans out of the window. I get your point about training and if he is not showing it then fair enough but there is not a chance they worked on him playing a specific role from the bench just doesn't happen

I’ll be honest, Chelsea were great today in terms of giving our midfield no time, really excellent

I said to my lad about a minute before we conceded the first that it was so important to get to half time at 2-0 and F**k me 3 minutes later it’s 2-2

No matter what level of football you’ve played that can happen and in retrospect you have to give credit to the opposition

Said that in the thread up against a very good side away from home it can happen. Freak of a goal though knocked stuffing out of us and all over place for 10 mins .

The Captains from has been worrying. Last game he was trying Steven Gerrard volleys that kept going into Row Z and then against the Chavs, every time he got the ball, he turned it over. And he was sitting there yelling  at everyone when he was the main culprit.

A lot of our.players do that, the losing of runners and not busting a gut to get back, Trents the king of it
