Why ? He is still a very good player and think he will do well in Holland - not sure why it’s desperate

I think he will do well there too, good standard of footi and similar weather to British isles.

From watching him when he plays for England - I don’t think he would be the sort of player that would be good for a high energy press team but for Dutch league I think he still has the legs for a couple years to do well there.

Yup, he aint fit enough for a high press team anymore, that was proved last season with us.

He has never been what you would call a great player, I would suggest his biggest influence with us was as a leader. which is an often overlooked attribute.

Jürgen usually spot on with his media stuff but the "I don't know how we dare to judge" line is pretty poor.

We're entitled to our opinions and Hendo, or any footballer, or person, is not above being criticised.

If Jürgen feels that way, then so be it. As you said in the same sentence we're entitled to our own opinions aren't we?

Couldn't give a F**k either way. Not really worth getting upset on what is an opinion on people holding opinions really.

They're 5th, some 23 points off the top though. Desperate

He fcked up as have most on here at one time or another , some mistakes are bigger than others , none the less mistakes they are , he’s trying to rectify that good luck to the man ,
He could have stayed  with us but chose not to , I suspect that’s one mistake he’ll have to carry for a long time , but hey life and football moves on it waits for no man good luck Jordan hope the demons don’t haunt you too much .

Not upset in the slightest. Just saying Jürgen is wrong on that point. If you dont have an opinion on that so much the better, saves you the trouble of replying.

I agree that vid linking him with the great Cruyff is a bit obscene.

They've had a poor start to the season, I know that much.

More to do with the number 14 though innit mate.

I think Ajax are the last club who'd put anybody close to Cruyff. Who knows though, in ten years their ground might be renamed as the Johan & Jordan Arena.

Would have thought the general consensus was that the most beneficial option open to him was the one he eventually took up.

For another respected European club to come in for him is nothing short of a bonus!

From what I have read, Jordan is still hoping for a recall to the England team.

      Good luck to him anyway.

Two chances - a dog’s chance and no chance but never say never with the dimwit selectors.

But that doesn’t make it a desperate move - not every player needs to be exciting

After Liverpool, ex players and managers simply don't matter to me any more. Unless of course, they come back in some capacity to help and benefit LFC in the future....

      It's Liverpool FC, or nothing!

King Kenny being the exception of course....
