Not a classic final but Novak was just too strong on the day for Rafa. I thought Rafa might have got back into the game after the third but made too many errors.

Didn't he just. I wish they did stats on how many slice backhands players made. It was as if Rafa forgot he could hit it to handed and with a bit more grunt.

I think he'll be looking back with great disappointment. He looked distraught in his interviews and very disappointed in how he played but still was humble as ever and tried to deflect all that in congratulating Novak.

Credit to Novak for that though, the way he started just seemed to make Rafa go in to a shell.

I agree with you. Always dislike the tennis players who have to make a lot of noise while hitting the ball.

What's that noise Novak makes when he serves? it is F***ing annoying and sometimes it seems they just do it to get a reaction off their opponent.
