Another slightly random question but as I know a few of you here watch Italian football, I was just wondering how Momo was doing nowadays?
He was, at times an incredibly frustrating player to watch for us but he did also have some good games and was very young for a tough-tackling midfield roll.
I had a glance at Wiki and it doesn't say much about his time at Juve at all. Being 26 now, I just wondered if he'd developed into a decent player or not?

He's had quite a few injury problems and didn't feature that much last season. He hasn't really changed his style or improved dramatically as a player which is a bit sad.

Still can't pass. Fairly useless for them. Still got a V10 engine in his armoury, but yeah, he's no good.

Wasn't a great passer when he was here, was he?

He was good at breaking up the plays, though, until he got that accident that damage his eye sight or something. His only goal against Sunderland also!

Serie A - Sissoko and Sirigu join PSG

      Fri, 29 Jul 16:42:00 2011

Paris St Germain have continue their spending spree by signing Mohamed Sissoko from Juventus and Salvatore Sirigu from Palermo.

No fee has been announced for either transfer however it is known that Sissoko has joined on a three-year deal whereas Sirigu has penned a four-year contract.

The former Liverpool midfielder Sissoko was born in France but plays for Mali, although he is delighted to play in the country of his birth for the first time.

He said: “It gives me great pleasure to be able to play for PSG.

"I chose this club because of their ambition. I had no hesitation. Hearing Leonardo and Antoine Kombouaré was enough to convince me.

“I have never played in France, but now I have the chance to get to know this league and impose myself here.”

Goalkeeper Sirigu, 24, was forced to convey his feelings through a translator.

He said: “I am delighted to sign for PSG, it is an honour.

“I am going to learn French as soon as possible so that I can communicate with my teammates.

"It is important for a club to have two experienced ‘keepers who they can call on at any time.

“It is going to be great to rub shoulders with Douchez, who is a top ‘keeper. I can’t wait to start training alongside him and to learn from working with him.”

PSG sporting director Leonardo is thrilled to have brought in the two players from Serie A where he spent time last season managing Inter.

The Brazilian said: “We are really happy today. This is an important day for us because they are two players who had plenty of options elsewhere, and yet they chose to come here.

“Mohamed has great experience despite being only 26, and he will bring a lot to the club and to the team.

"Salvatore is a top player, and moving abroad will teach him a lot on and off the field. He has had two great seasons and has established himself in the Italy squad.

      “The recruitment process continues.”
