U2 are doing a boss job of headlining. Bringing some memories back here.

Noticed some of the lads were talking about it in the TV thread. Thought a thread was in order.

      Nice one Kenny!

      U2 have been excellent.

I watched Morrissey earlier as well and was also brilliant.

As I said before, loved the scene with all the flares being let off.

U2 have been boss, but still need to go some way to topple The Boss from a couple of years ago, the best headline act at Glasto imo.

Agree mate. Springsteen has been the best headline I can remember.

U2! What a f**king brilliant set from them! Up there with Bruce Springsteen from two years back for me personally. Their Zoo TV like opening of 4 songs from Achtung Baby was breathtaking. Loved how they brought back the 'Everything you know is wrong' subliminal messaging as well for The Fly. And With Or Without You near the end was spin tingling. It was so excellent that I didn't realise they'd missed out one of my all time favourite U2 songs - City of Blinding Light. If New Years Day and The Unforgettable Fire were added to the setlist that would have been a massive bonus as well.

I don't care what you think of him away from the stage but Bono is the absolute show man. What a frontman, what a show, what a band!

      Over to you Coldplay.

That girl was only about 11 or 12 but the sound of her voice was unbelievable and she wasn't fazed an iota by the huge crowd, she stood there and did her thing.

What an awe inspiring set by Coldplay. All the talk was aobut U2 and Beyonce but Coldplay bring out and WHAM...BEAT THAT! I've never heard a crowd effectively sing along to every tune like that. What a fantastic effort from that band.

Just about to post about it mate.

Coldplay were awesome tonight and although I enjoyed U2 last night this was even better.

To close the set on a brand new song as well.
